Woman Tries To Rob Bank, Claims Life Is In Danger

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The FBI is looking for a woman who tried to rob a bank and may be in danger.

The woman tried to hold up a U.S. Bank in Coon Rapids around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

According to the FBI, the woman gave a teller a note saying her life was in danger and she needed money.

The teller asked the woman if she was in danger and she said yes, so she asked the woman to take a seat in the bank.

The woman said she couldn't, and then walked out of the bank without any money.

Witnesses reported seeing her get into an older, tan, Chevy Impala driven by a man wearing a white baseball cap.

The woman is described as being white, between 18 and 23 years old, about 5-foot-5 inches tall and weighing about 130 to 140 pounds. She has dark eyes, chin length dirty blonde hair, long bangs, and was wearing a turquoise zippered Aeropostle sweatshirt, a tank top underneath, and grey pants. She carried an oversized black bag or purse.
