BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (WCCO) — A woman’s body was found in a creek Thursday morning, just a few blocks away from where a 72-year-old woman went missing the day before.

Police say the woman’s body was found near the 6200 block of Cavell Court.

Officials were called to a group home on the 6200 block of Yukon Avenue North Wednesday, after staff reported Virginia Glauber, also known as “Ginger,” might have walked away from the home between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m.

Glauber was described by the home as a vulnerable adult and “emotionally challenged.”

Though they didn’t confirm that the body was that of the missing woman, Brooklyn Park Police announced they had cancelled the missing person alert.

Capt.obvious – May I ask who the hell you think you are. This was an accident, and you should really watch what you say because you are sorry for the families loss but then go on to say that she would have been murdered anyway. This is someones life you are talking about. And being apart of this situation, you are an ass for your comment. I can’t believe how low you go when someone has lost someone that they love. Put yourself in their shoes for a moment with losing someone that they care about, how would you feel about someone posting a comment such as yours. You obviously don’t understand the situation and never will. Where you not raised with the “golden rule” of IF YOU DON’T HAVE ANYTHING NICE TO SAY, THEN DON’T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL. Again, your an ass for your comment and it is not appreciated by the family and friends of Ginger.

Amen to that Midnite. Capt. Obvious, have you ever even been to brooklyn park? You act as if she was wandering around the marci projects in NYC or something. This is Minnesota. Your blind ignorance is quite obvious.
