LRT Line Flooded Out In Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (WCCO) -- Standing water in the south metro has forced the Hiawatha Light Rail line to shut down between the 28th Avenue and Mall of America stations.

According to Metro Transit, buses are handling passengers between those two locations. Service was not disrupted along any other portions of the line.

The line is expected to open once the standing water from Friday's rainstorms subsides.
