Weather Blog: The Heat Is On
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- This is the title of a great song from the Eagles' Glenn Frey. It is also a good description of our weather for the next several days.
Our highs will be in the 90s with dew points in the 70s. That combination will make it feel like 100-plus degrees for the next several days.
We will also have a good deal of sunshine with the warm, humid air pushing most storm activity near the Canadian border.
Be careful and remember the rules of staying hydrated, avoid too much sunshine, seek out air conditioned places, etc.
On the other hand, enjoy the heat of summer. We dream of this during our winter months.
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday should be the worst of the hot days.
