Excessive Heat Expected In Minn. Through Wednesday

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Most of Minnesota is under an excessive heat warning through Wednesday.

The National Weather Service says high temperatures are expected to be into the low to mid 90s, with heat indices soaring to 105 degrees through Wednesday.

There's a chance of severe thunderstorms over central Minnesota and into west central Wisconsin on Sunday night into Monday.

Many areas have seen more than 2 inches and some spots have seen nearly 7 inches.
