Authorities: Missing Minn. Woman May Be In Texas

VIRGINIA, Minn. (AP) — Authorities say a northern Minnesota woman who was allegedly kidnapped by her estranged husband last week may have been spotted in Texas.

In a news release, the Virginia Police Department said it was contacted Saturday by the New Braunfels, Texas, Police Department with a lead on Roberta Lynn Caskey. The 44-year-old was walking with her 9-year-old son and a friend Thursday evening when authorities say she was forced by her estranged husband, 40-year-old Timothy Glen Caskey, into his vehicle.

Authorities in New Braunfels told the department a man and woman matching the Caskeys’ description entered a used car dealer Saturday afternoon and asked to test drive a truck. He provided Timothy Caskey’s driver’s license. They failed to return the truck, and his pickup was recovered at the dealer.

In other words the media is scaring the public by reporting this as domestic abuse and kidnapping.

It’s just another woman who likes having a relationship with a loser.

Quick!! Union Workers need their State Domestic Abuse Budget Money!

I doubt she enjoys being in that relationship….besides the fact that the article had mentioned they were not together anymore. When in an abusive relationship it’s a lot harder to leave than most people think. It’s nice to see there are still ignorant, obnoxious, people out there though!

This is the worst story ever written.

Its saying a restraining order is just a freaking piece of paper. this woman is probably being threatened in more ways they you or I will ever know. Some men go physco when women leave them and we have no idea what the case is . This could be your sister or your daughter one day . You should not judge til you know the whole story. And who is to say someone doesnt think you are a loser for the choices you make?

Now that’s a face that says, “Was that wrong? Should I not have done that?”

    • Chili and Beer

That’s a face that says “I shouldn’t have eaten all of that chili, can I go to the can when you’re done taking my picture?”
