MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota Lynx forward Rebekkah Brunson is the WNBA’s Western Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Brunson led the Lynx to a 2-1 record for the week, including back-to-back wins over the Eastern Conference-leading Indiana Fever and defending champion Seattle Storm.

Brunson started her week by posting her eighth double-double of the season and franchise-best 20th double-double of her Lynx career. She scored 16 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in a 112-105 loss to Phoenix.

Two days later Brunson scored a team-best 20 points against Indiana. She followed that the next night by scoring 16 points, grabbing eight rebounds and blocking two shots against Seattle.

Brunson also was Player of the Week for June 3-12, and was Western Conference Player of the Month in June.
