Pedestrian Struck, Killed On Highway 61

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A 23-year-old man is dead after being struck and killed by a vehicle on Highway 61.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Adam Stein, of Hampton, was walking in the traffic lanes when he was hit by a pickup truck.

The incident happened around 4:30 a.m. Sunday on southbound Highway 61 at 220th in Dakota County.

Stein was pronounced dead at the scene.

    If only you knew the person you’re talking about coolbreeze.. 61 where he was walking is not like you know it. And yeah, have some respect, at least he wasn’t drinking and driving. Keeping his family in my prayers. Adam was a great guy..
