Pedestrian Struck, Killed On Highway 61
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 23-year-old man is dead after being struck and killed by a vehicle on Highway 61.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Adam Stein, of Hampton, was walking in the traffic lanes when he was hit by a pickup truck.
The incident happened around 4:30 a.m. Sunday on southbound Highway 61 at 220th in Dakota County.
Stein was pronounced dead at the scene.
