Arrest Made In Gov. Dayton's Former Home Arson Case

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 29-year-old man has been arrested in connection to an arson fire at a south Minneapolis home once owned by Gov. Mark Dayton, according to authorities.

Jeron Patterson is currently in custody at the Hennepin County Jail.

He has been charged with arson in connection with the fire that occurred in the early morning hours of July 2 at the home, which is located on the 4200 block of Harriet Parkway.

The fire caused minimal damage to the residence.
