Wis. Man Accused Of Slapping Boys Over Missing Frog

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) — A 26-year-old Sheboygan man is charged with slapping two young boys for letting his pet frog escape briefly.

Christopher D. Sipe faces a preliminary hearing Wednesday on two counts of felony child abuse. The charges carry a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.

A Sheboygan Press report says Sipe was living with the boys’ mother. The criminal complaint says he discovered his frog missing earlier this month. Sipe told investigators that even after it was found, he acknowledged hitting the boys “very hard” because he thought they were responsible.

Prosecutors say Sipe had been drinking before he struck the boys, ages 8 and 6. Both boys had large red and blue patches between their noses and ears.

A message left with Sipe’s defense attorney Monday wasn’t immediately returned.

Hitting your (assumed) girlfriend’s young kids for maybe letting your frog get loose? Really? Hope he gets pounded for accidentally letting the soap get loose from his hands in the shower in prison.

Hahahahaha that’s great…I completely agree!! Who slaps kids for something that was an accident let alone at all?! What happens when they are misbehaving on purpose?! And what is the mother thinking being with someone like this…I am sure he has shown signs of being stupid and having a temper!!

Since when is slapping a felony offense?

Anyone who thinks slapping deserves a felony court hearing is ditzy.

    1. nate says:

When it involves young kids and the bruises are highly evident I would say it deserves punishment to the fullest extent…

      1. See BS says:

Only dumb people think everything is suppose to be a felony offense.

Most kids need to be cracked daily. My dad beat me about the head often and it didn’t hurt me a bit….a bit….a bit…..
