Mitch Hinz is a trained IT specialist, and decided to leave his eight to five job three years ago, and took a road less traveled and joined the United States Army. Mitch completed basic training at Fort Benning, and learned to repair Bradley Tanks at Fort Knox. At 25, Mitch and his wife were stationed in Germany where he worked with Bradley Tanks.
He returned from Germany to the US, and two weeks later was sent to Afghanistan, and will be maintaining radios, flying unmanned air vehicles, construction and repairing humvees. Mitch grew up in Mahtomedi, and is the youngest of three boys. His wife Natalie is still in Germany.
