Minor League Switch-hitter Meets His Match

Dave Lee shared the story of a minor league pitcher who can pitch with either hand.  When he faces a batter that is a switch-hitter, the players had a classic showdown.  Here is the video.   A new rule was put in place to handle the situation after this episode.  The pitcher’s name is Pat Venditte.  He had recently played in the Northwoods League for the Wisconsin Woodchucks.
