Mower Lands On Man’s Head

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) — A 27-year-old man was taken to the hospital after an accident involving a piece of farm equipment.

The St. Cloud Police Department said Glen Leander Traut, of Rice, Minn., was working underneath a large mower Tuesday afternoon.

Traut was working on the blades when the mower fell from the jack, pinning his head underneath.

Police said Traut was able to call 911 on his cell phone. His family members didn’t realize he was injured until they saw squad cars pulling into the yard.

Responders pulled the mower from Traut’s head and transported him to the St. Cloud Hospital.

His current condition was not reported.

Really? You people have no idea of what happened and to make remarks of him not working are dumb! I know this man and he works a full time job off of the farm and then works more than another full time job farming!! If Farming was so easy and they are paid so well why isn’t everyone farming? I feel like I dont need to defend farmers to anyone! Farmers know who feeds the world and who works hard and honnest for the money!!
