Battalion Chief Dies In Logging Accident

ROCHESTER, Minn. (AP) — A battalion chief for the Rochester Fire Department has died in a logging accident.

Fire officials say Chuck Hermann was off duty at the time of the accident Thursday on property he owns.

The Post-Bulletin says Hermann was also an auctioneer who specialized in real estate. He was the owner of Hermann Auctions.

    The article says he was a fireman and an auctioneer and died in a logging accident. “Where’s the beef” of the story?

      He was off duty and on his land that he owns.
