Weather Blog: Cooler
We hit 88 degrees Saturday in the Twin Cities, and some strong to severe thunderstorms moved over the northeast metro late in the afternoon, and over the west and south portions of the metro during the evening.
The thunderstorms missed the downtown areas of Minneapolis and St. Paul, so art fairs, the Twins game and many other events went on as planned.
Your Sunday will be cooler than Saturday, with some pesky clouds giving way to a cloud/sun mix. An isolated shower cannot be ruled out, but most of us won't see any rain. A cool front approaches on Monday, and it is expected to spread scattered showers and thunderstorms across Minnesota and into western Wisconsin.
Behind the front, cooler and drier air is lurking, so Tuesday and Wednesday may feel a bit like September. Hope you're having a great weekend!
