On Friday, September 2nd, John Williams will be selling authentic souvenir pieces of the Metrodome roof at the MN State Fair.  Proceeds go toward Mpls. Park and Rec Baseball teams impacted by the May 22nd Tornado.   They are going for $20 a piece.  Stop by the State Fair and get the genuine article!

How do we, who cannot get to the State Fair, get to buy those Metrodome squares? I know of a young man, Illinois, a Twins fan forever, age 11. Dad been out of work for two years, just doing a few odd jobs, Mom went to work at WalMart at night so she would be home to see the two kids off to school and home when they got home. Mom also does a lot of baking to sell. No complaints ever from them. I would love to purchase two squares for these kids as I know they would treasure them. Conrad and his Dad were here several years ago and had tickets given to them to see the Twins in the Dome and he said it was just the greatest. I send him articles from the newspaper and he reads them at the supper table to his family. My donation would be for $50 a piece and would send the check immediately. Listen to you and your laughter helps me thought my day. I’m 75, my Mom who is almost 101 lives with us for 10 years and I’m the 24/7 caregiver to her. Thanks and Blessings to you, your family and The Dog

John, I was wondering if you have any pieces left over after the fair, as we will not be attending this year, I would like to purchase 2. I am willing to pay $25.00 each to use towards Mpls tornado victims. Glad you’re back in town. I really enjoy your daily banter. Thanks

Please let me know either way.
