Boy, 16, Dies In ATV Crash In Wadena County
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 16-year-old boy has died as a result of an ATV crash in northwestern Minnesota, authorities said Thursday.
Alec Dale Davey, 16 of Sebeka, was riding his ATV in Red Eye Township, which is in Wadena County, at about 1:35 p.m. Tuesday when it crashed.
He was transported to Tri County Hospital and later airlifted to the trauma center at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale. He later died from injuries suffered in the crash, according to the Wadena County Sheriff's Office.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation. The Wadena County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Menahga Police Department, Sebeka First Responders and Tri County Ambulance.
