MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Target says it’s time to start thinking flu season as your kids shop for school supplies.

It’s something you probably haven’t thought about just yet but the flu season is right around the corner.

Flu season typically begins in the late fall and peaks in mid-to-late winter. So, it’s not too early  to starting thinking about getting your flu shot.

Starting Monday, Target clinics nationwide will start offering the flu vaccine.

Target said this is two weeks earlier than last year so parents will be able to get their kids ready for the school year in one trip.

Flu shots will cost $25 dollars and will protect against the seasonal flu and H1N1.

I’ve heard the flue shots are only good for 6 months in an average human body. if you get one now will it be worn off by February?

Does anyone know the answer to this?

    Thank you to any answers.

I deal with flu shots when flue SEASON rolls around.
My opinion? Target is just trying to make a dollar from uneducated vulnerable people as the convenience factor.
I sure as hell wouldn’t vaccinate my family until October.
