MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities were searching for a 13-year-old girl in Kandiyohi County after she was reported missing Friday afternoon, according to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Department.

The girl was reported missing from her home in rural Kandiyohi County at about 3:30 p.m. Friday. That’s when she was last seen walking down the driveway of her home. Authorities have identified the girl as Synnove Williamson.

A search was conducted of the farm site where she lives and a police bloodhound followed the girl’s scent to a nearby cornfield, but they were not able to find her.

The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office said Saturday morning that the girl had been located. Authorities said she returned to the residence just before 8 a.m. Saturday.
