ROSEVILLE, Minn. (WCCO) — Police are investigating a 47-year-old Roseville man died Saturday evening at a local hospital.

Roseville Police were dispatched to United Hospital around 6 p.m. Saturday on a report of a man who had succumbed to his injuries after an alleged assault earlier in the week.

Officers say the man was transported in an ambulance to the hospital Saturday morning, after suffering from seizures and vomiting.

The man later died at the hospital.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy later this week to determine a cause of death.

Roseville detectives have interviewed a number of the man’s friends and have executed a search warrant at the man’s home.

The man’s identity will not be released until next of kin can be notified.

At this time, no arrests have been made.
