Wis. Man Accused Of Driving Drunk With Infant In SUV

MILWAUKEE (AP) — A 31-year-old Illinois man has been arrested after a Milwaukee County sheriff’s deputy stopped his Jeep for traveling 90 mph on Interstate 94 and found a 9-month-old infant in the SUV.

The traffic stop happened about 12:15 p.m. Saturday in an area of Milwaukee where the speed limit is 65 mph.

The sheriff’s department says a preliminary breath test showed the man had a blood-alcohol level of 0.24. He was taken to the Milwaukee County Jail. He faces a felony charge of recklessly endangering safety, and lesser charges including operating while intoxicated with a child under 16, among other charges.

The department says child protective services released the infant to a family member.

As tragic as this story is I think a follow-up story to this article would be the BAC of whoever wrote this story and of whoever proofed it before it was released. The headline says the man is from Wisconsin and the story says he is from Illinois. Maybe he was from North Dakota or Ohio. The inaccuracies and errors of the MSM are as frequent as the bad choices of those who they support politically.
