Parents: Minn. Soldier Killed In Afghanistan
FOSSTON, Minn. (WCCO) -- The parents of a 29-year-old soldier originally from Fosston, Minn. say that he has been killed in Afghanistan.
According to a report by Valley News Live, Matthew Harmon was killed after his vehicle was struck by an IED.
Harmon, who served multiple tours in the Middle East, was attempting to recover another vehicle that had been hit by an explosive.
The body of Harmon, a 2000 graduate of Fosston High School, has a wife and three children in Germany. His body will be returned to Fosston.
