INVER GROVE HEIGHTS (WCCO) — An Inver Grove Heights community college was evacuated Tuesday morning after a suspicious powder was discovered inside a harassing letter.

According to police, a worker at Inver Hills Community College opened the harassing letter and discovered the suspicious powder. The college was then evacuated of the few faculty members who were there.

The powder was then analyzed by the authorities and deemed non-hazardous. It has now been sent to the Minnesota Department of Health for further analyzing to determine what it is exactly.

The results of the analysis are expected Wednesday.
