MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The atmosphere overhead will be slightly unstable this weekend, so a few scattered showers will be possible at times.

No long-lasting rains are expected, so you should be able to get in your outdoor activities with only a brief interruption if a shower passes through. Temperatures will be close to normal for mid-late August.

Looking ahead, some strong thunderstorms are possible Monday night and Tuesday as humidity levels increase. You can get the latest weather information here at wcco.com and on WCCO-TV and Newsradio830wcco.
