MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Cameras will be rolling on some of the Guthrie Theater’s final performances of Gilbert and Sullivan’s “H.M.S. Pinafore.”
Twin Cities Public Television started filming Tuesday night and will wrap up by taping Wednesday night’s performance. The production will kick off the nine-part PBS Arts Fall Festival on Oct. 14.
“H.M.S. Pinafore” is wrapping up a 10-week summer run at the Guthrie. Guthrie artistic director Joe Dowling helmed the production, which stars Robert O. Berdahl as Captain Corcoran and Christina Baldwin as Buttercup.
The final performance is Sunday night.
