Man, 20, Killed In Morrison Co. Crash

UPSALA, Minn. (WCCO) — A 20-year-old man was killed in a crash involving a semi-tractor trailer near Upsala, Minn. Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Morrison County Sheriff’s Department, Thomas Krivanek, of Fergus Falls, was driving on Abaca Road at about 3:30 p.m. when he made a U-turn and was broadsided by a semi-tractor trailer.

Krivanek was the only one in his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the semi, a 48-year-old man from Long Prairie, was not injured.
