BROOKLYN PARK (WCCO) — An Amber Alert issued Thursday for a 16-year-old girl who was reportedly abducted in Brooklyn Park has been canceled.

According to Brooklyn Park Police, Dolla Yang was found safe after a 4-and-a-half-hour Amber Alert.

Officers said the 17-year-old suspect is in custody.

Police were called to the 7700 block of Abbott Ave. N. after witnesses told police that Dolla was walking with two children, aged 3 and 4, and a car with two men pulled up to her. A man got out of the car and the passenger told Dolla to come with him. When she refused, he grabbed her arms and forced her into the back seat of the car.

The two young children were left behind, but are safe.
