Local NHL Player Accused Of Boating While Impaired

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — An NHL player who grew up in Roseau, Minn. has been arrested in Hennepin County on suspicion of boating while impaired.

Twenty-six-year-old Dustin Byfuglien was the star of the Stanley Cup playoffs two years ago for the Chicago Blackhawks.

He was later traded to the Atlanta Thrashers, who moved to Winnipeg this off-season.

And he was an all-star last season.

He was arrested Wednesday and got out of jail on Thursday.
