Hudson Mom Faces Repeat Charge Of Abusing Daughter

HUDSON, Wis. (AP) — A western Wisconsin woman who was convicted of abusing her 1-year-old daughter 13 years ago is now charged with depriving the same girl of food and clothing.

Thirty-six-year-old Elise L. Will and her husband, 37-year-old Jeremee C. Will are each charged with being party to the crimes of felony child abandonment and misdemeanor child neglect.

An Eau Claire Leader-Telegram report says police became aware of the 14-year-old girl in late July. That’s when her grandmother called authorities to report the death of the couple’s 6-week-old daughter.

Investigators saw the teen lying on the cement basement floor of her rural Hammond home. She told police she was often forced to sleep outside and go days without food.

Online court records didn’t list defense attorneys for either person Friday.

If she was convicted of abusing this child 13 years ago, why was the child still in her care????? Our system stinks.

I agree!! How did she get to keep her child if she was already in trouble for abuse? Maybe someone should take a look at the judge who decided this poor girls fait 13 years ago.

I want to know about the death of their 6 week old.

They cry in the dark so you can’t see their tears
They hide in the light so you can’t see their fears
    Forgive and forget…all the while
love and pain become one in the same in the eyes of a wounded child.

Good god. Sometimes I think people convicted of child abuse should be neutered. If they were starving the 14 year old, what was happening to the poor baby?

  • jeff

i thought every sensible parent punished their children by starving them and making them walk around naked. you mean that’s wrong? WHAT THE H*LL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE??????????????????
