At around 12 a.m. Saturday morning, police responded to the report of gunshots on the 2500 block of North Logan Avenue. Police officers were then directed by 911 callers to a house on the block from which they believed the shots had come from.

When police entered the residence, they found a deceased man in his late teens or early-20s. Another man in his mid-20s was taken to North Memorial Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Both victims were shot.

So far, no one is in custody in connection to the shooting, police said. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the TIPS line at 612-69208477.

The identity of the deceased and his exact cause of death will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner once the initial investigation is concluded.
