CARVER, Minn. (WCCO) — An 18-year-old woman is dead after a personal injury crash late Saturday night.

The Carver County Sheriff, Jim Olson, said the accident occurred around 11:27 p.m. Saturday near the area of 1500 Main Street West in the city of Carver.

Responding officers found a woman and a man in a vehicle, which was located in a ditch with some trees. Crews attempted to save the woman, of Chanhassen, but were unsuccessful. The man was transported to an area hospital.

The Carver County Sheriff’s Office, Chaska Police Department, Carver Fire Department, Ridgeview Ambulance and Minnesota State Patrol responded to the crash.

The Carver County Sheriff’s Office will continue to investigate.
