2 Shot Near NE Mpls. Strip Club

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Two people are recovering after an early-morning shooting in Northeast Minneapolis.

Police said the shooting happened in the parking lot behind 22nd Avenue Station, a strip club at the corner of 22nd and University Avenues. Officers said the shooting happened after a fight there.

A man and a woman were shot and drove themselves to North Memorial Medical Center. They reportedly sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Police say they know who the gunman is, and witnesses even gave officers his cell phone number.
