The Good Life For Less: Deals Round-Up 09/07

With a chill in the air feels like the dog days of summer are being rounded up. So we've also rounded up a few deals to keep the wallets insulated.

• This weekend, adults can get in free to Valleyfair and maybe even have a chance to get into the Guinness Book of World Records!

It is National Literacy Month and Valleyfair is letting readers (18+) in free Saturday (09/10) as they shoot for the record of "Most Adults Reading to Children at One Time and One Location".

You can pre-register by Thursday (09/08) by emailing rsvp@Valleyfair.com. They said walk-ups are welcome, but free entry is based on availability. Reading starts at 11 a.m.

If you have kids (17 and younger) they can receive $10 off the admission. Kids under two are free, children who are 3 years old but under 48-inches tall are only $9.99.
