1 Arrested After Shooting Near Int’l Market Square

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – One individual has been arrested after two people were involved in a shooting in Minneapolis late Friday afternoon, according to police.

The incident happened just after 4 p.m. near the International Market Square at the intersection of Glenwood and Lyndale Avenues.

Police said two people were shooting at each other, but nobody was injured in the incident.

Police have no information on what led up to the shooting. The incident remains under investigation.

    Wow. Sounds like there is PLENTY of SECURITY at the IMS, but NONE on Hennepin Ave. or 1st Street. What’s wrong with this picture? Oh, I get it.
    Millionaires and Billionaires have shops set up at IMS, but not downtown, so they can fund the appropriate level of security to protect their ‘investment’.

    That entire area around IMS is a pretty rough Scandinavian neighborhood..Those Norwegians in the saggy pants are trouble.
