Haze In Metro Area Is From Burning In Arrowhead

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The haze that you can see in parts of the Twin Cities metro area Friday afternoon is coming from up north, according to a meteorologist.

The National Weather Service meteorologist said the haze is likely due to controlled burns that are being carried out in the Arrowhead region north of Duluth.

The haze has led to a few calls being placed to Minneapolis and Ramsey County dispatches.
