STILLWATER, Minn. (WCCO) — Four people were injured Friday night, one critically, after a head-on collision in Stillwater, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The incident happened just before 9 p.m. Friday. Authorities said they believe all four had been drinking. The crash caused Main Street in downtown Stillwater to be closed for at least two hours while the accident was investigated.
The State Patrol said a car being driven by a 28-year-old man from Sheboygan, Wis., was headed southbound on Highway 95 when it crossed the center line and hit a second car.
The driver of that car, a 23-year-old woman from Hudson, Wis., is in critical condition. Her passenger and the passenger of the other car suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities said the crash is still under investigation.
