MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Fans of Ellen DeGeneres and Dr. Phil will have to wait one more day. The men’s final for U.S. Open Tennis will be airing on WCCO-TV from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, so the premieres of both “Dr. Phil” and “Ellen” have been moved to Tuesday.
“Dr. Phil” will premiere at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13 on WCCO-TV. Following his premiere, “Ellen” makes her official jump to her new time slot at 4 p.m. on WCCO-TV.
And don’t forget to set your DVRs. The episode of “Ellen” that was scheduled to run on Tuesday will be shown on WCCO-TV early Wednesday morning, starting at 12:37 a.m.
The winner of the “Ultimate Ellen Experience” will also be announced during the 5 p.m. newscast on WCCO-TV on Tuesday.
Yuck.
I don’t think she’s making any offers to you, sir. It’s a TV show. Feel free to not watch it if it does not interest you.
So, is the Dr. Phil that should be aired on Monday also going to be on at an early hour??? Who wants to watch tennis in the middle of the day??? This stinks!!
The premier episode of “Ellen” was advertised for WEEKS. Not cool switching things up. Saw the tennis coverage and changed the channel….
It is pretty messed up that you go to watch the greatest season premiere of the BEST show ever and when you turn it on it it the worst possible thing to watch TENNIS!!! And I am really gonna miss waking up to Ellen she is a great way to start the Day!!!
Neither the 4pm Tuesday or the 12:37am (Wednesday) show were the premiere. BOTH were Tuesdays originally scheduled episode. Guess I’ll start watching it on a different channel….
