MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who is suspected of robbing two Minneapolis pharmacies earlier this September.

On Sept. 11, 2011, at 2:20 p.m., a man entered the Walgreen's in the 200 block of West Lake Street, walked to the pharmacy count and presented a note announcing the robbery, according to Minneapolis Police. The man was given an undisclosed amount of money and then fled on foot along Lake Street. No weapon was observed and no one was hurt.

Police say the man is also suspected of robbing a CVS Pharmacy on Franklin Avenue West and Nicollet Avenue South on Sept. 3, 2011.

The man is described as a black man in his 20s, 6 feet tall with a thinner build. He has a medium brown complexion and a thin mustache.

Anyone with information regarding the robberies is asked to contact the Minneapolis Police Department Robbery Unit investigator Sgt. James Spencer at 612-673-3293.
