MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A teenage girl was hit by a vehicle last night while walking on the side of a road in Wisconsin.
The 15-year-old was hit around 8 p.m. near Ellsworth, Wis. She had to be airlifted to Rochester for care.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department said a vehicle driven by 43-year-old Rodney Furlong of Bay City, Wis. hit the 15 year-old girl.
She was taken to Fairview Hospital and later airlifted to St. Mary’s in Rochester. No word on her condition.
The accident is still under investigation.
