MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Twin Cities based Target Corporation is still dealing with backlash from its Missoni promotion.
Target’s website crashed because of so much demand for items from the upscale Italian designer. Even with the trouble, retail analyst David Heupel with Thrivant Financial said Target will probably continue with such promotions.
“I would expect you’ll see things like this again from Target. They just have to make sure it’s a process that’s not going to irritate,” said Heupel.
Some online shoppers say their orders are being delayed or canceled — and they won’t shop at Target anymore. Target says it’s fixing the problems.
