Police Issue 48 Tickets At Loud Party In St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — St. Cloud police have handed out 48 tickets to partygoers after busting up a loud party in St. Cloud.

Officers were called Thursday night on a loud party complaint and found a noise violation taking place.

Police say the renters acknowledged having several people inside who were under 21 and drinking alcohol.

The St. Cloud Times reports the citations included loud party noise violation, underage consumption and giving false information to a police officer.

Underage kids drinking? say it isn’t so. Glad to see things haven’t changed in 40 years.

Obviously, whoever wrote this article, didn’t make it past sixth grade English class. But I have to ask myself, “How did the article make it onto the STRIB website in this condition?”
Is it asking too much for at least basic grammatical correctness? This is getting worse over time. What criteria are being used in the hiring of reporters and editors at these newspapers?
