Woman Killed In Brooklyn Park Stabbing Identified

BROOKLYN PARK (WCCO) -- A woman killed in a Brooklyn Park stabbing has been identified.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner said Mauryn Eunice Wanda Moore, 39, died of multiple sharp force injuries suffered on the early morning of Sept. 13, 2011.

On that day, officers were called to the Villa Del Coronado apartments on Zane Avenue around 2 a.m. When they arrived, they found a woman dead.

Another man, who police believe did the alleged stabbing, was taken to North Memorial Hospital for non life-threatening injuries.

Police said they are keeping the man in the hospital in custody on suspicion of murder.

They are not looking for any other suspects.
