Vikings’ Peterson Wants To Help At-Risk Youths
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson plans to donate $5,000 every time he makes a touchdown.
He is joining forces with actors Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore through Peterson’s All Day Foundation and Kutcher and Moore’s DNA Foundation. They are launching an effort called “Football For Good” to raise awareness and funds for community programs for at-risk youth and to fight human trafficking of minors.
The news release says Kutcher and Moore plan to match each $5,000 donation.
Other big names that have committed some type of donation are Cincinnati Bengals’ Jermaine Gresham, Indianapolis Colts’ Dallas Clark, Chicago Bears’ Roy Williams, Philadelphia Eagles’ DeSean Jackson, Oakland Raiders’ Michael Huff and WBC Boxing Champion, Victor Ortiz.
