Center City Motorcyclist Dies In Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A motorcyclist is dead after a crash near Taylors Falls.

The Chisago County Sheriff’s Office said they received a report around 7:12 p.m. Saturday regarding a motorcycle crash.

Officials responded to the scene on County Highway 37 in Shafer Township. An initial investigation revealed that Jay Carl Tromburg, 51, of Center City, was traveling west on Highway 37 and ran off the road.

Tromburg was the only person on the motorcycle and died at the scene as a result of the crash.

The cause of the accident is under investigation. Authorities say speed may be a factor.
