MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Rick Adelman and David Kahn are teaming up to help the Minnesota Lynx get a big crowd for Game 1 of the WNBA Finals on Sunday.

The new Timberwolves coach and the man who hired him have purchased 2,000 upper-level tickets for the series opener against the Atlanta Dream. They have donated 1,000 to several charities in the Twin Cities. The other 1,000 are free to fans who call the Lynx ticket office.

The Lynx have homecourt advantage in the series and advanced to the first finals in franchise history with a sweep of Phoenix in the Western Conference finals.
