Right On Par For Some Autumn Golf Deals
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Overall, autumn is a beautiful time of year to be outdoors in Minnesota. For many people, that means getting in one last round of golf.
But if you're also starting to save up money for the holidays, there are a few ways you can save money on those last few rounds of the year -- depending on where you go, you can save up to $20 a round.
If you're looking for a deal on a late season round, fall rates are in effect at Woodbury's Prestwick Golf Course. They've taken 10 dollars off their 60-dollar green fee.
And at Stonebrook in Shakopee, you can save about $20 a round, and pay $38 on the weekend. And if you book your tee time online, your cart is free.
In Prior Lake, the Wilds may have the deal of the season. Normally $80 a round, the price is set by the temperatures starting in early October, maxing out at $65.
While you're at the course, you'll also want to check out what else is for sale. There are many golf gear sales during the fall. Pro shops all over the Twin Cities have marked down leftover shoes and clothes.
