Snap Fitness To Give Away Franchise
CHANHASSEN (WCCO) -- It's not uncommon for a company to give away cars and vacations, but one Minnesota business has decided to take it a step further. Snap Fitness is giving away one of its franchises to a lucky winner.
Gary Findley, COO of Snap Fitness, says his business will cover all costs associated with starting a franchise, which is valued at $250,000.
"What we want to do is create the American Dream, which is always to own and operate your own business, right?" said Findley.
Although it may sound like risky business, Findley has hunch that the opportunity will far outweigh the risk.
"We can teach them how to run the business. What they need is the drive and passion, and that's what we're finding in these people that have written into us," said Findley.
In order to pick the winner, Findley and his partner sifted through more than 2,000 essays with that dream top of mind.
They are now down to three finalists, who they've asked to make a home video telling their story.
Snap Fitness will be making the final decision next week.
