Reward Offered In Unsolved Minneapolis Homicide

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police are asking for the public's help to solve a homicide from March, and will be offering up to $1,000 for information.

On March 28, authorities responded to the 3400 block of Park Avenue South on a report of shots fired in the area. Upon arrival, they found that a vehicle with three people inside had arrived at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, including two who had been shot.

One of the victims survived and the other, Stephanie Smith, died from her injuries.

Smith's death was ruled a homicide. No arrests have been made in the case.

Police say on the night of the incident, witnesses reported seeing two men running from the area after hearing multiple gunshots. Investigators and Smith's family believe someone has information regarding this case and are asking for help to solve it.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information regarding the murder of Smith.
