Police: 2 Dead, 2 Injured After Accident In Kandiyohi Co.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A car accident Saturday afternoon left two people dead and two injured in Kandiyohi County, police said.

The accident happened around 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of County Road 40 Northwest and County Road 5 Northwest, police said.

Police found two people dead at the scene. Emergency crews airlifted one of the injured to a Twin Cities hospital and took the other injured person to Rice Memorial Hospital, police said.

Police said the names of the those killed and injured in the accident will be released after their families are notified.
