53-Year-Old Man’s Body Pulled From Anoka River

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Authorities are investigating after they pulled the body of a 53-year-old Anoka man out a river Saturday afternoon.

Police responded to a report of a dead body floating down the Rum River at around 2:02 p.m.

Police said there was no sign of foul play and that the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating the cause of the man’s death.

Updates on the investigation will be released Monday, police said.
